The total research contarcts negociated in 2009 amounts to 17.2 million, represented an increase of 9.6% compared to 2008. The volume of exogenous financing projects opened in 2009 is 211, increasing of 8% compared to 2008.
Human Resources involved in applied Research & Development (aR&D) is the same as in 2008. The year 2009 stands out in an increasing sharing out(~ 10%) sources of R & D funding from the national funds.
It is particularly pleasant to note that despite of a sluggish economic situation 22% of sources of R&D funding come from private funds. However we note a slight decrease of additional funding through the technology transfer activities comparing to 2008 (~ 4%).
